Venetia A. Dover, Ph.D., Practice Administrator

Venetia A. Dover is the Practice Administrator at Townsend Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and she is the wife of Dr. Dover.  Venetia received her B.A. degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and her Master's degree from Howard University in Washington, DC.  Venetia recently completed her Ph.D. at Howard University.  Venetia has several years of experience working in policy writing, research, and office management.  She has worked with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances and is excited to use her excellent organizational skills coupled with her positive customer service experience as an office manager at Townsend Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.  She enjoys cooking, reading, watching reality television shows and spending time with her wonderful husband and beautiful daughter.   Overall, she is dedicated and committed to helping you to achieve optimal oral health and is looking forward to pampering YOU.

​Melissa Gott, R.D.H., Dental Hygienist

       Melissa Gott is the Dental Hygienist at Townsend Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.  She is a native Delawarean and she graduated from Hodgson Vocational Technical High School with a concentration in dental lab and she later completed her Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene from Deltech.  She also attended the University of Maryland.  She has almost 22 years of experience in dentistry and she has been working as a dental hygienist for over 14 years.  She is married and she is the mother of two wonderful boys.  During her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family.  She is committed to using her vast knowledge of dentistry coupled with her incredible interpersonal skills to Pamper You...and Your SMILE!
